| T.Az.P.R.S. Levels of Activity (L.O.C.) |
| Some paranormal investigation groups have, within their team, certain ways to label or classify reported paranormal activity. T.Az.P.R.S. has what we call "Levels of Activity" (L.O.C.). We utilize these classifications for our attending investigator's investigation information, investigations. They are as follows: 1. Strange Feelings: Being watched, uneasiness, anxiousness, paranoia headaches, being not alone etc. 2. Phantom Smells: Perfume, sulfur, cigar/cigarette smoke, smoke from fire, flowers, urine, feces etc. 3. Unexplained Noises: Knocking, banging, tapping, slamming, scratching, whistling, footsteps etc. 4. Hearing Voices: Names being called, conversations, laughing, crying, moans, screaming, short sentences, cuss words etc. 5. Unexplained brief sightings: Seeing something caught out of the corner of the eyes that disappears when directly looked at, shadows, light emitting energy spheres, black/white mists etc. 6. Full bodied apparition sightings: Consisting of residual/intelligent apparitions of men, women or children in full view, shadows, shadow people, “hat men”, etc. 7. Poltergeist activity: Objects moving, falling, sliding, tipping over, levitating or being thrown across the room. Windows, doors, cabinet doors or drawers opening or closing, etc. 8. Physical contact or attack: touching, brushing by, poking, pulling of hair, pinching, grabbing, pushing, slapping, hitting, punching or shoving. Possible demonic activity being displayed etc. 9. Attacks seemingly focused on a minor child. 10. All the above. If there is any activity that has been witnessed by others, the letter "A" will be added to the level as well. If there is any activity that has been caught on media, (still camera--digital or film, camera phone, video camera or audio--digital or analog), the letter "B" will be added to the level number. Example: “Levels of activity are: 2B, 4, 5, 6A-B, 7A, and 9B." These classifications are for "The Arizona Paranormal Research Society" member’s use only, and are to be used for preparation of investigation, investigation reports and information sharing.
