| general impressions: Impressed with the architecture of the hotel. The lobby of the hotel made me feel different in the way that it didn’t feel normal. Like a big room has echoes, this room didn’t seem to have any. The original furniture and paint in the lobby added to the décor of the 1920’s, from the chairs all the way to the original front desk bell. Entering the old extremely small elevator, reminded me of my claustrophobia. The halls were narrow and long but very well up-kept. Upon entering our room ("306") I felt uneasy and anxious at the same time. There was a corner of the room that had a bed in it that Lori and I could not go into very well. The negativity that we felt from that corner was overwhelming. We both felt that we could not sit or lay on it. The room was nice and big. We set up cameras and audio in the room and then went to dinner. After dinner we proceeded to scout out future areas of interest like The museum club, Citizens cemetery and the Lowell observatory. Then we arrived back at the hotel around 9:30pm. This is when we found Lori’s computer unplugged and the battery drained. We watched the video of the room that was taken while we were gone. There was nothing in the video that would indicate why or how it was unplugged. Also upon returning after dinner, we noticed two golf balls in the hallway twenty feet from our door. We photographed the golf balls in their position at the time. We then proceeded into the room and watched the rest of the video that was taken of the room while we were gone. While we were watching the video we heard on the audio, a child laughing in the hallway. Later in the early morning, we were going back to the room and after arriving back on the 4th floor we noticed that the golf balls had moved from the hallway in front of our door to the opposite hallway leading away from our room. We never did determine the nature or purpose of the golf balls in the hallway. Knowing that our contact for the evening would not be at the hotel until 11:30pm and not available to us until 12:30am, we decided to take base readings and pictures in all areas accessible to us. We started with our room, and hit all of the hallways from the 4th floor all the way down to the lobby. Base readings were minamal. At 11:30pm, we talked to Azul (night auditor) at the front desk and inquired when we would have access to other areas of the hotel. We were informed that we would have access as of 12:30am. We decided to take pictures of the lobby and the outside of the hotel. We seem to have captured a small blue person in three frames. In the 4th frame, he was gone. At 12:30am we were allowed access to the basement area. We took base readings and inspected the basement. We set up the HI-8 camera and the digital recorder. After that, we went back upstairs to analyze more video of our room. When the bar was available to us at 3:00am, we went and set up the HI-8 and focused the shot in the bar area. We also took pictures with the digital camera. At 3:45am we proceeded to the basement to collect our video camera and audio recorder. Then went back to the room and listened to the audio and reviewed the video from the basement. At 5:10am we decided to discontinue watching video of the basement and try to get an hour or so of sleep before the wake up call at 6:30am . Azul did give us a wake up call at 6:30am that allowed us to retrieve our equipment in the bar area before the cleaning crew arrived at 7:00am. During our hour of sleep, there were three pictures taken from Frank’s camera while we were asleep. One of the ceiling fan, one crooked picture of us in the room asleep and a third one that resulted in a curious woman’s face in the computer screen along with some kind of manifestation on the keyboard. These pictures were not immediately noticed as there was a lot of evidence to go through. In lieu of the evidence found, we have decided and already made reservations for the 23rd of September for a second investigation with a full crew. We will have the added benefit of a full- time escort so that we can sit in the active locations without interruption and for as long as we would like so that we can try and obtain better documentation of previous activity. |

| Picture #3 (mouse over) The laptop icons that were present are now missing and replaced with a womans face. The blue word on the screen has, what looks like, motion blur and has covered part of the lower screen frame. Also, the curious manifestation has completely formed on the vacant keyboard. *Note - If anyone can identify what this manifestation is or resembles, please contact us. |

| Picture #1 The camera was on the far bed, by itself, laying on its back while we were asleep in another area of the room. This shot is unexplained as the camera had to be lifted up in order to get this shot. |
| There wasn't any video or audio that would be considered paranormal evidence. Only a few strange personal experiences and a few digital pictures were to be considered paranormal on this personal investigation. We would like to thank Saffron for her generous hospitality and Azul for her information as well as accompanying us. |
