| Client Telephone Interview Questions |
| are experiencing paranormal activity in their home, property or business. These people sometimes wait until they are at their absolute wits end. They shy away from talking to most people about it in fear of being ridiculed or embarrassed. After all, it is the subject of "paranormal" and either you believe or you don't. The decision is made to contact your group for guidance and help in understanding what may be taking place in their home. They may desire an investigation for validation of what has been happening as well as to be reassured that they aren't going crazy. Paranormal activity does indeed happen. Because of these facts, clients must be handled with care, compassion and understanding. Just being able to "get it off of their chest" is a great start for them to being able to begin coping with their situation. In the initial e-mail, (or completed "Contact Us" form), they may describe key happenings and/or if there is a child involved etc and may want to request an investigation. Reply with a telephone interview request and ask how and when it would be convenient to contact them. It is best to conduct a personal telephone interview to assess the activity as well as gauge the honesty of the client. Yes, there are some people who would simply request an investigation for their own entertainment at the investigators expense. This allows the client to communicate and get to know the interviewer, and vise versa, in order to gain trust all around. Be polite and proceed by letting them know that this questionnaire will be kept confidential from the public and only pertinent information will be relayed to the investigators attending the investigation. Let them know that there may be questions of a personal nature being asked and that they only have to answer those in which they are comfortable with. Be personal with them as they are going to be letting you in on their story, so show respect. Warning signs should be considered while progressing through the interview process. Do not continue if it is apparent that they are impaired from alcohol, drugs or if there is too much commotion going on in the background. Politely, let them know that you will reschedule the interview when things have settled down. Here are some client interview questions to consider asking while conducting a telephone interview: 1.
