The Arizona Paranormal Research Society
T.Az.P.R.S. Rules and Regulations- Member’s Expectations
All investigators agree to represent
"The Arizona Paranormal Research Society" (T.Az.P.R.S.)
in only the most positive and respectable manner. It is important to project maturity and
professionalism in any or all circumstances and to remain calm
and collected during all investigations no matter what activity has been reported.

1. Always show respect to the living and the dead during an investigation.

2. Children under the age of 18 are NEVER allowed at or on an investigation. This is to prevent
any harm possible (psychological or physical) happening to the children. The client shall
arrange accommodations for their children and/or pets before the investigation appointment.

3. All attendees on an investigation must be 18 years old or older, for safety reasons.

4. Never go on any investigations alone.

5. Always observe and obey posted signs on public and private property.

6. Always get and retain permission before entering privately owned property.

7. Have an open mind. Maintaining a positive mental attitude is very important for all
investigations. A highly skeptical and closed mind will generate negative energy during
an investigation which may alter or taint possible obtainable evidence.

8. Absolutly NO recreational drugs or drinking allowed prior or during an investigation. All
investigators agree to refrain from drinking alcohol or using illegal drugs before, during or
immediately after an investigation. The smoking of tobacco may be done at appropriate
designated break times outside the location of investigation. Smoking within the area of
investigation are grounds for immediate dismissal from the team. (The agreed upon area will vary
from location to location and will be disclosed prior to each investigation.)

9. Always remain calm and collected during an investigation. Be professional. If at any point
during an investigation you feel uncomfortable or uneasy, let a team member know and you will
be accompanied away from the area until you feel well enough to return.

10. Always investigate an area in a team of two or more for safety reasons. Never wander off by
yourself. If any activity should suddenly happen, it would merit more credibility if witnessed by
another as well.

11. No drama! T.Az.P.R.S. will NOT tolerate drama and neither should you. Always be helpful
and respectful to your team and they will do the same in return.
Always conduct yourself in a professional and mature manner. You are being video taped and
may appear in an investigation video(s) produced by "ParaLevel 13 Productions".

12. Communication, communication, communication! Communicate with Core members of
T.Az.P.R.S.. If a problem arises, then so shall a solution. Lack of communication will not be
tolerated.

13. Maintain reliable transportation. If a problem suddenly comes up, there may be an
alternative solution possible or carpooling to investigation locations.

14. Each investigator shall be responsible for their own supplies or refreshments.

15. Do not inadvertently or purposely remove or disturb any items from investigation locations.
This will be grounds for immediate dismissal.

16. All investigators agree (through investigation reports) to report all of their experiences,
evidence and findings for publication on T.Az.P.R.S.'s website (withstanding client approval).

17. All investigators agree to never alter evidence under any circumstances. Any questionable
evidence will be submitted to the founder for final analysis and approval.

18. Should any media inquiries occur, all investigators agree to divert all media inquiries to the
T.Az.P.R.S. founders.

19. Protecting the confidentiality rights of our clients is of the highest priority and all
investigators shall refrain from discussing any or all information pertaining to the client or
investigation. Information about cases should never be discussed outside of T.Az.P.R.S. team.

20. All investigators will take part in individual, private or on-site training courses to maximise
all investigation practices, theories and techniques.

21. All investigators are responsible for understanding and adhering to the rules and
regulations.

What T.Az.P.R.S. Expects From Its Members:

1. Respect, understanding and compassion for our clients, their situation, their property and
other T.Az.P.R.S. team members at all times.

2. Always be on time. Sometimes, access to a location may be restricted and adjustments must be
made to ensure that we start at the time scheduled with the client.

3. Have access to reliable transportation.

4. Each member must be familiar with his/her own equipment and know the operation of said
equipment completely. If there is a problem or a question pertaining to the operate a piece of
equipment, we expect that person to ask a seasoned team member or our technical director.
Remember, there are NO stupid questions.

5. We ask that each team member be available for the entire length of an investigation. Some
investigations can run until five or six in the morning or can last days depending on the activity.

6. We ask that you always show up to an investigation in appropriate attire. If there is a chance
of rain or snow, please dress accordingly.

7. There is to be absolutely no drug use or drinking prior to, or during an investigation (With
the exception of a Doctor’s prescribed life maintaining medication).

8. Each new member will be placed on a probationary period for the first four investigations.
After the probationary period is over, each member will communicate with T.Az.P.R.S. Core
Members to discuss their performance thus far. This will also be times of which the President
may give constructive feed back and suggestions to the member for future investigations.
Members can also discuss any challenges or ideas that they may have up
to that point in their membership.

9. We expect each member to be responsible for his/her own safety during an investigation. Most
investigations are conducted at night when visibility is limited. We ask that you always keep an
eye out for your partner, as well as yourself, to ensure safety precautions.
Safety along with accident prevention is an absolute must.

10. We encourage every member to report any team member that is not acting in the best interest
of the T.Az.P.R.S. group or who may become a threat safety wise. This includes problems or
personal issues that may arrise from time to time. The T.Az.P.R.S. founders and/or Core members
will hold these reports in confidence, investigate said member’s activities, and decide a course
of action and follow through with said action.

11. We expect each T.Az.P.R.S. member to maintain his/her own equipment and supplies to ensure
proper operation in the field. This includes having extra batteries, film, tapes, cords etc as to
be prepared on site to deal with unexpected problems.

12. All T.Az.P.R.S. members should review their evidence in a timely manner (one week) and
submit all possible evidence as well as an “Investigation Report” to T.Az.P.R.S. President, or
other Core members for further review and analysis. Remember to communicate your findings.

1.3   We encourage all members of T.Az.P.R.S. to present new ideas and possible future
investigation locations to the founders or other core members for review and/or contact
information. If a T.Az.P.R.S. member is unable to attend an investigation, they must notify the
founders or other core members immediately before the investigation date so that we can adjust
the investigation plan accordingly.

14.    We understand that we all have jobs and another life separate from T.Az.P.R.S.. If a
member misses more than 5 investigations in one year, they may be placed on the “Reserve” list
instead of being considered a full-time active member. When the member becomes more available,
they will be placed back on the Full-Time active member list with probation status enforced.

15.  All expenses for investigations are “out of pocket” for each investigator. If and when
traveling great distances is needed, we may all try and share expenses when possible i.e. hotel
rooms, fuel etc. If someone cannot afford gas money to arrive at a location, there may be other
members that you can car pool with. Once again, communication is very important.
